Hi, I’m Rob — the creator of CloudArena.org.uk.

I’m an experienced IT professional with over three decades working across the ever-changing world of technology. My career has taken me through the design, configuration, and administration of Windows environments — including Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP, and core file and print services. Along the way, I’ve built strong hands-on experience in network configuration, device management using Group Policy, SCCM, and more recently, Microsoft cloud technologies like Microsoft 365 and Intune.

After the closure of my own business, I made the decision to step back into the IT industry as a support engineer — not as a step down, but as a way to refresh, relearn, and requalify in an industry that never stops evolving. During that time, I’ve earned certifications in Microsoft 365, Azure and Security and rebuilt my knowledge around modern IT practices and cloud-first solutions.
